Summary
The United States Navy SEALs (Sea, Air, and Land) are the US Navy’s primary special operations force. Trained through BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training) — one of the most physically demanding military selection programmes in the world. SEALs cross-train across land, sea, and air operations, producing extraordinarily versatile operators.
Sammy Castaneda is a SEAL operator — and an unusual one. His Dwarfism (SM -1) means he had to work twice as hard as every other BUD/S candidate to pass. He did. His DX 14, ST 14, and HT 12 make him one of the most physically capable operators on the team despite his size. His reputation for savage, indiscriminate violence and his unsettling psionic awareness make him the kind of frogman that even other SEALs watch carefully.
Role in Campaign
Background faction. The SEALs explain Sammy’s extraordinary breadth of skills — his Scuba, Boating, Diving Suit, diverse vehicle skills, and combat specialties all come from the SEAL cross-training pipeline. BUD/S also explains how a man with Dwarfism passed the most demanding physical selection in the military: sheer, bloody-minded savagery.
