Despite his recreational habits, he competently walked the team through the chamber’s technical operations: monitoring vitals, maintaining knockout gas levels, and keeping the prisoner safely unconscious.
The nurses at the base later gossiped about “the head doctor’s drug use,” suggesting Jones’s habit is not a well-kept secret.
