Summary
Joint Task Force 2 is Canada’s elite special operations unit, comparable to US Delta Force or UK SAS. Highly secretive — members are not publicly acknowledged, operations are classified.
Guy LeFleur served with JTF 2 as a demolitions specialist until the disastrous Kandahar mission under Lt. Nash Miller’s command. Guy was scapegoated for the failure and removed from the unit.
Role in Campaign
Background faction. JTF 2 represents what Guy lost — his place among the best, his reputation, his career trajectory. The unit’s secrecy also means the truth of Kandahar may never be officially acknowledged.
