Summary

A TL9 compact, pistol-sized rocket launcher that fires 15mm piercing projectiles. Carried by Sammy Castaneda as a backup heavy weapon. Despite its pistol form factor it delivers genuine anti-armour warhead performance, making it useful as a sidearm when primary heavy weapons are unavailable or expended.

Description

The Gyrock is an ultra-compact rocket launcher scaled down to pistol dimensions through TL9 miniaturisation. It fires self-propelled 15mm warheads rather than conventional propellant-driven rounds, giving it a punch massively disproportionate to its size and weight. Single-shot with a reload time, it is not a spray weapon — each shot must count. Sammy carries it as a backup option when the primary objective requires a penetrating hit against hardened targets or, as in Russia, anomalous threats that shrug off conventional fire.

History

Drawn from the Voss Dynamics armory as part of Sammy’s personal kit. First used in combat during the Fragment Bear engagement in Russia (Session 04). Sammy fired it into the regenerated Fragment Bear after the creature recovered from the initial C4/Claymore detonation, helping stagger it long enough for Ronnie to execute the decapitation.
