Session 10 Appearance
The desk sergeant summoned Gruber after Fischbein presented himself as legal counsel. Gruber read Metternich’s writ twice, recognised the weight of the Staatskanzler’s seal, and offered his immediate assistance. He escorted the party to the ground-floor strong room where the Liber_Ivonis, De_Vermiis_Mysteriis, and Marina’s notebook were held. The evidence clerk attempted to alert Captain Vogel, but Fischbein’s legal pressure and the writ’s authority overrode him. The party made a swift exit.
